DNA Wins AAF Seattle Mosaic Award
Last week the Seattle chapter of the American Advertising Federation held their annual award show, the ADDY’s. It’s always a great time to see the “best of the best” work in advertising, marketing, design and production coming out of Seattle.
One honor that the AAF Seattle awards is the Mosaic award, a singular award that honors companies and individuals who display their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through creative work, advocacy, and company-wide initiatives.
I’m so proud to say that this year, DNA won that award. Winning this is special to everyone at DNA as we have made our commitment to diversity – in every possible way – fundamental to who we are, and to how we generate more creative, innovative and effective work for our clients. This year’s Mosaic Award was not only our commitment to diversity in our organization, but the thousands of hours we invested in creating Black Black Friday – a campaign that drove huge increases in shopping and revenue at Black-owned businesses in Seattle over the holidays last year. We were so fortunate to have partners like the Intentionalist, sponsors like BECU and PCC, and almost $1M in donated media from literally every media outlet in Seattle.
