Danielle DeVera Joins DNA Seattle as Director of Growth
DNA Seattle is adding to its senior staff with the hire of Danielle DeVera taking on the new role of Director of Growth. Danielleis joining the agency from 72andSunny where she was Business Development Lead helping the agency land Pinterest, Marriott Bonvoy, Vital Proteins, and other leading brands.
The hire follows a number of new business wins for DNA and organic growth from existing clients. The agency’s business development efforts had previously been overseen by agency president Chris Witherspoon who is taking on added agency responsibilities, creating a need for someone focused full time on agency growth.
“Danielle is a proven driver of growth with an impressive pedigree,” said Chris Witherspoon, President of DNA. “She is a curious and creative thinker and has a great appreciation for the balance between creativity and strategy, making her a great fit at DNA.”
In addition to 72andSunny, Danielle spent five years at LA based Omelet where she was senior business development manager. She also has a background in marketing in the hospitality industry.
“I really wanted to get back to the indie agency environment after working at a large holding company and missing the autonomy and variety you can only get from independence.” said Danielle DeVera, “After interviewing at quite a few shops, I ultimately chose DNA because they are committed to great work and building a great culture with diversity as a driving mission. I truly felt I could bring my whole self to DNA and help drive growth.”
Among the new accounts DNA has added over the past year are Swerve Sweetener, Kaiser Permanente, Build Financial Management, Tableau Software and Dragon’s Milk Stout.
